Dafoe’s wife, Giada Colagrande, and his fellow actors, Pedro Pascal, Patricia Arquette, Camilla Morrone, Guillermo Del Toro, and Mark Ruffalo, were also present to celebrate the milestone. Dafoe and Giada have been married happily since 2005, and they made their first red carpet appearance as a couple at the Cannes Film Festival that same year. They have yet to welcome any children together, but Giada has fully embraced the role of a stepmother to Dafoe’s son, Jack, from his first marriage.

The 68-year-old also disclosed in an interview with People that he isn’t ready to quit acting yet. “I just want to make good movies, and that’s what it’s about, and work with good people because I really believe in the power of movies,” Dafoe confessed. “And when I’m on a movie set, well, I feel very engaged, very turned on and fed, and I learn a lot. So that’s what I want to keep it going.”
