Andie MacDowell proved that age and style can make a beautiful blend at the recently held season two premiere of The Way Home. The iconic actress turned heads by matching her silver locks with a turtle-neck, floor-length sequin dress that showed off her curves.

She kept it simple but classy with a black clutch purse and most of her hair in an updo, with the rest of her curls sitting prettily at the side. Fans could not get enough of her gorgeousness, particularly her gray hair, which she wears so proudly.

Andie, who has been L’Oréal Paris’ ambassador for the past 40 years, has proven to enjoy aging and the changes that come with it. “I wanted to have this experience of feeling what it is. Aging is a really, really intimate educator on loving yourself because you can’t stop it,” she told PEOPLE last year. “It’s going to happen.”

She recalled dying her hair until the 2020 pandemic when she decided to let it be and never looked back. “During COVID, I could see the roots with my face and with my skin and my eyes, and I liked it. I felt that I would be happier. And I am happier. I really like it,” she said. The actress was also inspired by her older sister, who looked much more beautiful, rocking her silver hair. “I was jealous,” Andie joked.

Andie’s tips for graceful aging

Andie’s body is a result of daily exercise and a majorly healthy diet. The mother of three claims working out is “in my DNA,” and being inactive isn’t her thing. “I’m driven to exercise. I love hot yoga, or I’ll go to a spin class,” she gushed. “I get high off of it.” She also enjoys walking and hiking, which “helps balance your cortisol levels.”

Andie, who begins her day with coconut water, nuts, and coffee, admits to being a big eater but with a focus on healthy food. “I love eating healthy food. I eat. I can eat a lot,” she said. “I might eat a lot of food, but it’s usually healthy food.” She also tries to avoid unhealthy snacks and chocolate, which she claims are her weakness.
